Rudy Giuliani says Beyoncé’s Super Bowl perfomance was an “Attack” on Police

During an appearance on Fox & Friends Monday morning, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani criticized Beyoncé’s half time performance for seemingly evoking the “Black Power” salute.

“I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive,” he said. “And what we should be doing in the African-American community, and all communities, is build up respect for police officers. And focus on the fact that when something does go wrong, okay. We’ll work on that. But the vast majority of police officers risk their lives to keep us safe.”

Some of Beyoncé's dancers held a sign (see after the cut)on the field that read: “Justice for Mario Woods.”
Woods, 26, was shot 15 times and killed by San Francisco police in December.

Well mayor someone has to speak up for the black lives that the police take every year. Where better to say it and who better to do so?
