Video: Watch the moment 7 BLACK teenager's were asked to leave an Apple store because they 'might steal something'

I have an almost 11-year-old son and to think that someday he too will be racially profiled like this is both heartbreaking and infuriating.

Seven African-born students in Melbourne Australia are at the centre of a 'racial profiling' scandal after they were asked to leave an Apple store over concerns they 'might steal something'.

The students who are originally from Nigeria, Sudan, Ethiopia and Egypt are now pushing for a formal apology from the Apple store in Highpoint shopping centre, north-west Melbourne,

'[It happened] because we were a group of black males, teenagers - and teenagers do a lot of stupid stuff, but you still can't give black people that stereotype,' one of the Year 10 students, Abdulahi Haji Ali, told Nine News.

The students have received their apology from the store's manager.
